don’t have anything in common.
Greece, Norway. A journey which is repeated
until it becomes a journey into yourself, or
the very self of life. Because the journey is
one, wherever it takes place, by whatever
means it is carried out, even by that of the
mind. And you, you continue to journey. You
go on meeting looks, noticing people. Do
you see what I see? Is what you see there? Do
you know which journey it is you’re making?
When you are out there, the contrasts are
blunted, the shared features are sharpened,
impressions are transformed, and memories
get mixed up. One thing is certain: when the
directions of the gaze coincide, the eyes are
not always looking at the same point; and
people cross one another’s paths even if
they never meet…
