Food has an international code of understanding. It’s a ritual. It has an identity, a culture of it’s own, sees no borders and spreads around from mouth to mouth. A process that awakens all our senses.
Familiar materials combine with unexpected objects, creating new forms of composition, shapes, surfaces; where varieties of different media are presented through a series of new improvised constructions.
Photography contributes to this process as a way of imprinting and capturing the idea by presenting it as a new image.
By experimenting, working with new materials, playing with words and titles this triggers a process that is constantly evolving providing more food for thought.
