Dolores Marat (FR), Orient, parcours en Egypte, Syrie et le désert

Dolores Marat was born in Paris, where she lives and works. She works as an
independent photographer, regardless of whatever style or fashion might be in.
All her artistic work, which has been published in many books, is printed exclusively
with the Fresson technique.
In the work of Dolores Marat, “the spectator is free to imagine multiple functions,
adventures, feelings. Her photographs all function in a very particular manner:
they provoke the imagination of the viewer. Ghost-like characters appear from
into the night. People, places and objects are all decorative elements that the
photographer catches in surprise, redefi nes in order to re-appropriate them. She
transforms them with her talent into magical and unreal photographs that fl irt
with eternity”.
