Dafni Melidou

“Myths” is a work that came up out of the need to record my daily life and my experiences in Quebec, Canada.
By blending together staged photographs with snapshots and always focusing in one certain character, I started building a myth into which I was feeling comfortable.
My inability to balance between an actual and an imaginary reality, my fear for the unknown and for its consequences to my life helped me finally choose.
