“Inside Her” is a work of memory, inspired by works of art, personal experiences, and sensations from childhood. I aimed to use the dual role of darkness both to represent the “other” side of childhood and to place these memories in the protected environment of an imaginary womb.

Darkness, intertwined with the unconscious, the beginning of the world, fear, desire, the opposite of light, and in this case a synonym of truth, was the natural destination of these images. Its photographic capture responds to the photographic capture of the light and smiles of family photographs. It responds to the images that intertwine childhood with bright innocence.

Therefore, this project is an unveiling, a thieving look under the carpet of (my) childhood.
