Anja Manfredi (ΑΤ)

Anja Manfredi analysis in her works the behaviour of body language, movements,
gestures, rituals and poses in theatre, dance, play and daily life. At the moment
she is working on a series about the dancer Isadora Duncan, whose modern
choreography is referring to Greek dance and theatre with the free body
movements, the loose clothing and the Greek ideal of beauty. In another Series
she uses the mask to refer to traditional antique Greek theatre, the mask is shown
as symbol of dis-subjectifying of humans.
