Everyday life is shaped by various facts, which aff ect and simultaneously colour,
each particular, private everyday reality. Personal actions are aff ected by factors
that are environmental, social, historical, political, cultural, civilisational and so
forth. The past and the present interact and defi ne potential developments. What
remains for us, is to choose within pre-appointed boundaries.
The artist listens to the pulse of the times and forms it into art – the visual artist
transforms this pulse into an image in order to communicate it.
“This project stems from my need to communicate to those who see my
work, projecting thoughts and theories on a fl owing, common, socio-political
existence… My goal is for these pieces to become carriers of ideas. To activate the
intellect in any manner at all. They can be read in many ways, on may levels, as
many as those who view them (in accordance to their own individual credo), even
as a simple reaction, a lightning-fast fl icker that is externalised as a smile…
