The series is about capturing objects and scenes in the area of Athens and its suburbs during the night, while the city is asleep. Its purpose is to isolate elements of the city whose original value has changed and at the same time to present a less photogenic aspect of Athens, during off-peak hours. The use of the bright frontal flash has been done deliberately, as it further helps in isolating the objects.
