I immersed myself in many different cultural and social experiences, working to support the community of Meridian city. My camera served as a window for those who were not there, allowing them to share in my feelings toward those moments.
My major focus was the unique art deco theater, its shows, and the people involved. Days and nights spent in this historic venue resulted in numerous frames, which I have selected for this photo book, creating a window into Mississippi like no other.
Being there not only as a photographer but also as a member of the community, I engaged deeply with the city. Short trips allowed me to explore and understand what life is like for the locals, capturing glimpses of North American everyday life. This involvement strengthened my resolve to present my experiences and observations.
