Nikos Koutouzos

Kypseli is a dense and layered neighborhood in the heart of Athens, and one of its most diverse. For members of the African diaspora it has been a point of arrival, a place of roots, and for some the only home they have ever known. Others are still finding their way through it, through a city that does not always make that easy, and a life that continues regardless.

This project moves through that world, staying close to the people who have shaped it and inhabit it.
