Incomplete shed
Incomplete Shed is a photographic project that unfolds within a site of informal living, in the liminal zone between the beach and the forest. There, people settle temporarily, everyday routines are suspended, and a different way of being begins to take shape. As their stay lengthens, perceptions of the self, of others, and of the landscape seem to shift. The traces of this transformation emerge at dusk and, through photographic wandering, gradually coalesce into a form of collection.
The project moves between the desire for escape and the transformation that emerges within this condition, while remaining aware of its transience. The title Incomplete Shed refers to an unfinished process of shedding, while also alluding to the makeshift shelters of those who reside there.
